Dapplemoor provides general travel planning information for the Big Lap and related routes around Australia. Content is for general guidance only — always verify current road conditions, park bookings, seasonal closures and safety information with the relevant local or state authority before you travel. Distances, durations and prices quoted anywhere on this site are indicative planning figures, not guarantees.

Accounts

Creating an account is free. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address and be old enough in your jurisdiction to enter into this agreement. You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing [email protected].

Paid services

Services listed on Services & Pricing are booked by contacting us directly; prices shown are in Australian dollars and may change without notice, though we'll always confirm current pricing before you're charged. Registered members receive 10% off listed prices, applied automatically once identified. Refund and cancellation terms are agreed individually with each service booking and will be confirmed in writing before payment.

No liability for travel decisions

We do our best to keep route, seasonal and safety information accurate, but conditions on the ground change constantly. Dapplemoor is not liable for decisions made based on content on this site — treat it as a starting point for your own research, not a substitute for official, current information. This includes decisions about vehicle suitability, remote travel readiness, and route timing — you remain responsible for verifying these against current conditions before you travel.

Third-party mentions

Where we mention businesses, clubs, apps or services, it's because they're genuinely useful for this kind of trip — not as a paid endorsement unless explicitly stated. We don't control their pricing, availability or service quality, and any dealings you have with a third party mentioned on this site are between you and that party.

Acceptable use

Don't use this site to submit false information, attempt to disrupt its operation, or misuse the contact form or account system. We reserve the right to suspend or close an account used in a way that breaches these terms.

Intellectual property

The text, structure and original content of this site belong to Dapplemoor. You're welcome to link to any page here, and to quote short excerpts with attribution, but wholesale copying of route guides or other content for republication elsewhere isn't permitted without asking first.
