Western Australia's only casino
Crown Perth opened in 1985 as Burswood Casino on a peninsula in the Swan River, and remains the only casino in Western Australia. Like its Melbourne sibling, it has grown into a multi-tower resort — Crown Towers, Crown Metropol and Crown Promenade — with dozens of restaurants and bars across the precinct.
The reward at the end of the Nullarbor
For lappers heading west (or east) across the Nullarbor, Perth is usually the first — or last — proper city stop for over a thousand kilometres in either direction, and Crown's riverside precinct is an easy, walkable way to properly decompress before or after that crossing.
Worth checking before you commit
As with any multi-night resort stop on a long lap, it's worth building a rest day either side into your schedule — the Nullarbor Crossing route page has realistic timing for the drive itself.
